Isnt that gorgeous?
Chinatown in Rome: Piazza Vittorio October 14, 2008
For those who want to know, the name in Rome for Chinatown is Piazza Vittorio! Lots of chinese shops to make bargains…well, it’s not really like Chinatown in New York, but if you step by Stazione Termini, it deserves the five minutes walk.
I was reluctant at first to take pictures in front of the shopkeepers, but nobody noticed me. I don’t want to get into some weird chinese maphia affair

The Chinese New Year celebration in Rome
The chinese community seems pretty strong in Rome. Here is a video I found that shows Piazza Vittorio during the Chinese New Year. Yellow dragon. Pretty cool!
Trastevere: What I love and what I hate about it October 7, 2008
Trastevere, I love it. But sometimes I hate it!
For who has never been to Rome, let me introduce it – Trastevere is the most crowded area of Rome, so full of tourists from all over the world, at day & night.
Maybe you’ll ask why all foreign people likes so much to come here – if you stay in Rome a couple of months and get to know fairly well the city, you’ll soon figure out this might be the most special area to live in: besides being very central, it really rules when it comes to bars, pubs, and great restaurants!
And the buildings are really not ordinary houses – they vary so much in shape and size, with some crazily small stairs where you’d better watch out if you’re not so slim.
To get what I mean, here is a video of Trastevere, courtesy of Rome Loft, the agency I used to rent an apartment in Rome.
You can see how Trastevere is inspiring – it’s amazing.
Being a girl who likes to hang around at night, staying in a place who is always crowded, also at night, makes me feel safe. I love my Trastevere! It’s 5 months that I live here and I still enjoy it very much.
So what I dislike about it?
Do you ever feel like being alone sometimes? Do you like silence? Don’t come here
But I’m still young (will be 25 this year, come on!) so I can stand it.
And sometimes groups of guys approach me with crazy excuses – yes, being a pretty girl is a hard job in Rome. But a job I can do happily
Alibi club crazy night in Rome October 7, 2008
A crazy night with drag queens! Alibi Club in Testaccio, Rome, has some nights dedicated to the most exotic parties. A must do, at least once! Entry was 12 € with drink. A friend of mine carried me here, without telling me what was all about. A different night, yes he was right! Yet great fun & no problems at all with all those special creatures of the night.
